Take a strip if newspaper and turn it into a disposable, recyclable flower pot to sow seedlings in. Wrap a piece of newspaper about 3-4 inches by 10-12 inches around the long former, overlapping the end by about 3/4 inches. Bend it over at the bottom and push tightly onto the base. The bottom will form into a strong base to your pot. Top it up with soil, and plant seedlings. When ready to put in your garden you can just plant the whole thing, pot and all. It will eventually rot in the ground and feed the soil.
